Welcome to VenomousPenguin.com
I have been developing software for more than twenty years, and
have worked in industries as diverse as telecommunications,
insurance, banking, accounting, manufacturing and trucking. In
each of these sectors I have learned new technologies and
methodologies for solving problems and building efficient and
productive systems.
More recently, I have worked as both programmer and technical project
lead in both New York City and San Francisco developing web based
applications for commerical applicaitons and the non-profit sector.
I am currently specializing in developing web applications on the
PHP/MySQL platform. I have extensive experience with the PostNuke
Content Management System, but can also develop and maintain
"from the ground up" systems. On many of these more recent projects
I have also provided Unix systems administration work, and maintain
my own Unix/Linux network for development work in-house.
